For the health and safety of our state and community in accordance with the Order from the N.C. Supreme Court, most North Carolina court cases have been postponed for thirty (30) days with limited exceptions. We understand the Court delay will impact a number of our clients and we appreciate your patience as we navigate this unprecedented issue. We are carefully monitoring the closure of other government agencies including USCIS and others. For existing clients, please be aware that any number of government precautions may be taken over the coming weeks and months that may impact your situation, including Embassy closures, travel bans, USCIS interview cancellations, etc. We encourage you to reach out to us and/or check the USCIS or Consulate website or appropriate government office directly before making any travel plans. Please reach out to us with any questions regarding your case.

Latorre Law Firm will remain open for business, however, some employees and attorneys may be working remotely. We encourage clients to communicate by phone or email to limit in-person contact. In light of recommendations from NCDHHS and CDC, we are asking that if you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough and/or shortness of breath, please avoid coming into the office, even to deliver or pick up documents. Of course, please avoid coming into our office for the safety of others if you are confirmed to have COVID-19 or have a family member at home that is confirmed to have COVID-19.
